Dioctyltin bis-ethylhexanoate is a compound of organotin chemistry and also known as DOTEH, an abbreviation. The slightly yellowish liquid is soluble in organic solvents such as toluene and xylene or in aliphatic hydrocarbons.

As a special odorless catalyst, it is used for various reactions in organic syntheses. It can also be used to influence the curing speed of polyurethane resins and silicone sealants.

Transport and Storage

Dioctyltin bis-ethylhexanoate is supplied in steel drums or plastic containers. If the original packaging has remained closed, the minimum shelf life is 6 months without any quality fluctuations being expected.
